Below are two different glass bead garland designs with bead counts and links to the beads used. Featuring large beads, both garlands follow the same beading pattern and use the same bead shapes with different color combinations illustrating two distinct looks: dramatic vs. icy. When working with larger beads please keep in mind it's like handling a blown glass ornament -- string them gently into place on the cord and try to avoid knocking them into each other to avoid breakage. Be sure to leave at least 1-2" of slack in your completed garland to allow it to drape.
For large bead garlands we also recommend working a small drop of clear-drying craft glue into the cord knots for knot integrity.
The dramatic look: Burgundy & Gold is a mix of rich tones with pink accents. This garland fits in well with Victorian and classic Christmas decor.

Pattern #1: A B C D C B A
Pattern #2: E F G H I H G F E
Your garland will begin and end with pattern #1. String pattern #1 onto your cord, followed by pattern #2 and repeat this sequence, ending in pattern #1. Your garland will have 6 sections of pattern #1 and 5 sections of pattern #2. Completed length is approximately 68" which is 5 ft. 8 in.
