German glass deco beads in Stardust which is a pale metallic gold. Beads are opaque (not clear). Bead size is .1mm which is very fine and powdery and best suited to adding shimmer to detailed smaller items or as shimmer on Christmas ornaments.
Deco beads are made of tiny round smooth glass beads with no holes that have then been colored. They are traditionally used for embellishing Christmas ornaments, garland beads, spun cotton, and stamen but can also be applied to paper crafts and used as a substitute for glitter.
This listing is for 2.5 ounces by weight which is approximately 9-10 teaspoons by volume (or about 3/16 cup -- just under 1/4 cup). Please note deco beads are carefully packaged by weight and 2.5 oz. does not completely fill the jar it arrives in. Jar measures 2" x 2".
To apply deco beads: Paint an even coat of clear-drying craft glue on your item (we like Alleen's Tacky Glue), gently spoon on deco beads or pour slowly from jar. Work over a bowl in order to corral and collect the excess deco beads and easily return them to their jar. For a more even look, paint the surface of your item a coordinating color first.
